Detectives from the MPD’s Third District are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted man and woman who targeted a woman walking along the road in the 1500 block of Park Road in Northwest DC.

At approximately 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, investigators say that a man and woman approached their victim on Park Road in a vehicle, at which point one brandished a handgun and instructed her into their minivan.

The victim complied, and the suspects sped away from the scene and demanded her property, to which she complied. She was later dropped off at a different location without reporting any injuries.

Police described the first suspect as being a Hispanic woman who is approximately 5-foot-7, between 25 and 30 years old, who was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and red/maroon mid-thigh boots at the time of the kidnapping.

The second was described as being a Hispanic man who is under 5 feet tall and over 40 years old with a thin build, cloudy left eye, and goatee. He was wearing a white shirt with blue dots, a black jacket, brown pants, and white shoes with red lines during the incident.

Their vehicle was described as being an older-model green minivan.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects, vehicle, or armed kidnapping has been asked to contact the Metropolitan Police Department by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting the tip line anonymously to 50411.
